Intercultural issues are strongly present in my work and in my life (see the “About me” section). Thus I grew up in a spirit of tolerance, openness to others, curiosity to different cultures and religions, in a respectful and equalitarian manner fitting to the post-colonial context.
Over my academic and professional path, I consider my experience working with LGBTI activists in Uganda as a fundamental point. The thesis I wrote on the topic is cross-cutting between human rights, sexual minorities, post-colonialism, and persecution.
Therefore I tend to put in all my work a focus on respect of minorities, diversity, equality, mutual understanding, respect, and tolerance.
As the refugee crisis stroke (being Europe’s biggest movement of population since the end of World War 2), I have committed myself to help unattended minor refugees. This category is particularly in need of protection and their situation specially moved me.
